Submit your URL to Google
The first step to getting your site online and to get better rankings in Google is to submit your URL to search engines. An example of an URL is www.yoursite.com. Eventually the search engines will find your site but this will help expedite the process.

Submitting using Google webmaster tools
This is the simple and best way of submitting a website or blog to Google. This feature has been offered by Google, so that you can submit using this tool directly, not via any third party software’s.
- Go to the following link: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
- Sign in to your Google account (i.e. Gmail)
- Type in your URL, example: http://www.yoursite.com
- Enter the captcha text shown in the box
- Select “Add URL”
Enter the website home page link in the Add URL box shown and then enter the captcha given for you in the below box. Now press Submit Request button. If your submission is success you will receive a message like this “Your request has been received and will be processed shortly”.
